Meet Ryan
Ryan was one of Scotland’s most prominent rugby players over the past decade, earning 50 international caps between 2013 and 2020. He represented Scotland in two World Cups (2015 and 2019). A combative back row forward, he helped Scotland to victory over England in the 2018 Calcutta Cup, the team’s first win over the Auld Enemy in 10 years.
Leaving a lasting legacy with Glasgow Warriors, he played 222 games for the club and was captain and co-captain for four seasons, playing a key role in Glasgow’s Pro-12 title success in 2015. He retired from professional rugby in 2023, and now works as a media pundit and commentator for TNT Sports and United Rugby Championship, as well as hosting the Maul or Nothing podcast.
