Meet Murray
Murray made the move from Dunfermline to Texas in 2012 as a FirstPoint athlete, signing for Trinity University in San Antonio to embark on what proved to be a successful soccer scholarship. He was a mainstay in the Tigers midfield throughout his four seasons, racking up 78 appearances and bagging six goals with 19 assists, reaching the NCAA DIII play-offs in each of his four years and winning the SCAC Championship four times.
Graduating with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing, Murray stayed in the States to work with car brands Jaguar and Maserati, before returning to Scotland to take up a role within the commercial team at Scottish Rugby as Sponsorship Executive working on strategic partnerships, sponsorship activation and account management. He moved back into the car industry to work with McLaren Glasgow and Genesis Motor Europe, then made the switch back into sport with FirstPoint USA in February 2024.
