Meet Gavin
A native of Miami, Florida, Gavin brings a wealth of sporting experience to the team, having worked with the NBA, NFL, NCAA DI and Scottish FA. Studying at Baylor University in Texas, he spent the duration of his undergraduate years with the Baylor Athletics department, with a focus on men’s basketball, American Football, women’s soccer and men’s tennis, with the basketball team reaching No.1 in the rankings for the fist time in the program’s history. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations and was named “best in Sports PR” at the university. He followed that up with a Masters of Sports Management from the University of Stirling, while interning with the Scottish FA.
Gavin returned to the United States where he worked with NBA side Miami Heat for four seasons, before joining FirstPoint USA as a sports consultant specialising in basketball. He is a certified NBA statistician, and has also interned with his hometown NFL team, the Minnesota Vikings.
