Meet Bernie
Bernie brings experience from a successful career at the prestigious Amherst College in Massachusetts where he occupied the No.1 spot as men’s soccer goalkeeper from 2018 – 2022, making 66 appearances for the Mammoths. He majored in Psychology and Economics He majored in Psychology and Economics and having moved from Liverpool to the States at the age of seven, holds dual UK and US citizenship. Bernie is a team-mate of FirstPoint colleague Harvey Moyes at Caledonian Braves, holding down the No.1 jersey for the Braves in the Scottish Lowland League for the past two seasons. He is also a goalkeeping coach with Savehands Goalkeeping Academy, and has worked in other roles within the sports industry, including online merchandising, sports analytics, and sports marketing.
