Meet Adam
Originally from Banchory, Aberdeenshire, Adam made the journey to the States on a rugby scholarship at University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where he played for the Mothers over a four-year period and graduated with a BA in History in 2020, including being a part of the squad that won a USA Rugby D1AA National Championship in 2018. Following this Adam pursued a Masters degree in Education from UMW, and during his first year of Graduate School worked as a Marketing Intern with Major League Rugby club Old Glory DC.
After graduating from UMW in 2022, his teaching career took him to the Benedictine Schools of Richmond where Adam taught World History & Global Military History, as well as being an Assistant Coach for the Rugby team that won a Virginia High School State Championship in May of 2023. Having returned to Scotland, he joined FirstPoint USA to pass on his insights and experience to the next generation of student-athlete rugby players within our growing rugby department.
